Our Origin
I found some of the most peaceful times in my life after the most difficult climbs. I believe that everyone should have a space where they can feel peace and healing. I hope to be that space for others who haven't yet found a space of their own.

My name is Alyssa Pisanelli (she/her) and I am a LPCC-S and LICDC in the state of Ohio. I received my BA in psychology from Kent State University, and my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. I have experience practicing in community mental health and the prison system with adolescents through adults.

I take a very client centered approach where you guide the therapy journey.; while also taking a trauma informed approach to understand your story from a different perspective. I work with you holistically to address all of life's stressors, and how that may impact other areas of your life.
I never understood why counseling felt robotic and impersonable and I strive to take that barrier away.
